Come learn fundamental cake decorating techniques while making a show-stopping holiday dessert. In this class, local pastry chef, baker, and cake decorator Sarah Causey will teach us to stack and base ice a 6" chocolate gingerbread cake using cinnamon buttercream. We will then learn how to decorate the cake as a christmas wreath using two different piping techniques. To top off our masterpiece, we'll add a sparkle of decorating sugar. Come ready to achieve that "this looks as good as it tastes" sense of accomplishment.
Materials
Cake decorating can be messy! We recommend bringing a few hand towels and wearing clothes you don't mind messing up or bringing an apron along.
