Description

You’ve become familiar with the lingo and you’re able to talk birdies and bogies, now it’s time to move onto the green and take a swing at mastering the basic golf techniques. In this class, local golf pro Colleen Estes will set us up to get a firmer grip on the basics of a good swing. Plan to dive into chipping around the green and get plenty of guided full swing practice on the range with the benefit of a small group setting and an expert by your side. We can’t promise you’ll walk away ready to take on a round against Tiger Woods, but this course will provide a great baseline of fundamentals to continue to build upon.

Materials

Please wear a collared shirt/polo, comfortable shorts/pants and tennis shoes. Hats and sunscreen are also encouraged as needed. If you have a set of clubs you'd like to bring along, we encourage you to get a feel for your own clubs. If not, we'll have extras on hand that you're welcome to practice with.

Who Should Take This Class?

It’s recommended that attendees have a baseline knowledge of golf and/or have attended the “Get Started Golfing” class to get the most out of this offering.
