Fall is in full swing and winter is just around the corner. Whether you're after function or fashion, a hat is an essential staple to your cold weather wardrobe. In this class, expert knitter Kari Hess will guide us through a hands-on lesson on knitting in the round. We'll follow a pattern for a basic hat, learn how to join knitting without being twisted, and the differences between flat knitting and round knitting. We'll also cover a few other new techniques needed in order to continue and complete your hat. Mastering knitting in the round will open doors to endless projects including hats, cowls, socks, gloves, and even sweaters! Hand crafted matching holiday attire and personalized gifts for friends and family will be at your fingertips.

Materials

SkillPop is happy to provide circular knitting needles for you to keep and the yarn needed to knit your hat.
