Description

Button on your favorite shirt popped off or hanging by a thread? Have pants that fit you just right, except they’re just an inch too long? Notice a hole in the seam of your favorite dress? Minor fashion emergencies don’t have to result in contributions to the donation pile. In this class, we'll get hands-on guidance and practice as we learn to remedy those easily fixable holes, tears, hems and missing buttons to make your favorite clothing items like new again.

Materials

No materials are required for this class, but if you have a clothing item with one of the listed fashion emergencies- you are welcome to bring it along to reference throughout the lesson! All students will be given a small sewing kit to take home so you're armed and ready to combat future fashion emergencies.
