Israeli dishes typically incorporate various foods that are traditionally eaten in other Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisines. In this class, Chef Chris Young will walk us through cooking a full Israeli meal from start to finish. We’ll start by learning to make Shakshuka - a pepper and tomato stew cooked for breakfast with soft poached eggs. Next we’ll cover falafel with tehina sauce and spicy shug sauce. Finally, we’ll wrap up by making Kanafeh - a delicious cheese and phylo pastry for dessert.
