Description

An overlocker (or serger) is a type of sewing machine that uses three or four threads to stitch fabric while also encasing raw edges. Join Lindsey Johns, owner of Inside the Hem, as she provides guided practice and instruction to help you take your basic skills to the next level. In this class, you'll learn how to thread your serger, get perfect tension, and make other adjustments for perfectly serged seams every time. By the end of class, you'll have the confidence to start using your serger to create pieces of your very own.

Can’t make it to the live session? Not to worry - you'll automatically receive access to a replay the day after class.

Materials

To follow along with class, you'll need a serger, 4 spools of serger or cone thread, scrap fabric, and basic sewing materials. We’ll send out a detailed list of additional materials upon registration.
