Want to try barre classes, but intimidated by the thought of being a newbie? Confused by the terminology that’s used or think these classes are only for dancers? Join us in this entry-level class designed to familiarize you with barre basics and eliminate feelings of intimidation. Instructor Shawna Baker will cover the essentials including body positions, alignment, and technique. We'll also be covering some of the most common barre exercises - pretzel have you in a bind? Ski slope have you ready for take off? Chair or fold-over have you running for the door? We've got you covered!
Be sure to bring plenty of water and wear comfortable workout attire. Please note that more form-fitting clothing is recommended for barre classes. If you have grip socks, feel free to wear them - but this is not a requirement.
