When will you have in-person classes outside of Charlotte, NC?
At this time, we have no immediate plans to open in-person classes outside of Charlotte, NC. However, we’re always taking requests for new cities and will update our newsletter or social media when this changes. And make sure to check out our new Class of the Month subscription to participate online in SkillPop classes from anywhere in the country!
What do I need to bring for my class?
SkillPop provides everything you need for the majority of our classes. If no materials are listed in your initial confirmation email, you can just bring yourself!
Something came up and I cannot attend a class that I signed up for. What is your refund policy?
In order to help us best prepare for our classes, please email us at email@example.com if you are unable to attend your class. If a conflict arises 72 hours before class, we are able to offer a credit for the price of the class or a transfer into a class of equal or lesser value. After 72 hours, we cannot offer any credits or transfers - but you are always welcome to sell or gift your ticket to a friend. All SkillPop tickets are non-refundable.
Can you put me on a waiting list in the event that a spot in a full class opens up?
At this time, we do not offer waitlists.
What’s your age policy?
Our general policy requires that attendees are at least 10 years of age and those aged 15 or under should have a parent/guardian to accompany them. Some of our classes do have specific age limits, so please be sure to check the details for the specific class you're interested in attending.
Where are your in-person classes held?
We are currently hosting in-person classes in Charlotte, NC. More information about our class venues can be found on each individual class page and will be provided upon registration.
Will I get a confirmation email when I sign up for a class?
Yes! Once you register, you’ll get an email detailing everything you need to know -- venue information and directions, materials, and more. You’ll also receive a quick reminder email a day before the class. Be sure to check your Trash, Spam, and Promotions folders just in case our emails are delivered there instead of your inbox.
What is Class of the Month?
Class of the Month is our online class subscription, where members receive a curated list of classes to choose from each month. Joining Class of the Month is just $19/month and subscriptions can be canceled at any time!
What is included in a Class of the Month subscription?
First, a Class of the Month membership gets you one on-demand class every single month that you can watch at your convenience. Each on-demand class is from a previously recorded live session, so you can expect lots of engagement and interaction with our expert teacher.
Second, members get free access to our special live Class of the Month! Live classes are different each month with brand-new content from our on-demand classes.
Doing the math? That’s two full-length classes for just $19.
Can I still take online classes a la cart without joining Class of the Month?
We occasionally will list online classes here, but the majority of our online content has moved to Class of the Month .
When am I charged for my Class of the Month subscription?
You will be charged one month from the date that you signed up. For example, if you sign up on March 1st you will be billed for the subscription on April 1st.
What if I can’t make it to the monthly live online class?
Not to worry: we record every virtual class! Class of the Month members will get access to the recording in their Member Dashboard and all other registrants will receive a link to the recording the day after class.
How long will I have access to my Class of the Month on-demand classes?
As long as you need! Even after your membership ends, you won’t lose access to previous picks.
How do I cancel my Class of the Month subscription?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get you taken care of.

Absolutely! Gift cards are available in our Shop. They do not expire and can be used towards any upcoming classes or shop items.

I have a skill that I would like to share with the community - how do I become a SkillPop Teacher?
We are always accepting proposals for new classes! If you have experience in a skill that you would love to teach/share, we’d love to hear more. Think of your class proposal as an overview of how you would like to structure and design a two-hour class. Great things to include in your proposal would be: an outline of the topic(s) you want to teach, what students should expect to learn, materials required (and cost, if possible!), and anything else you feel like we should know!
Once you’ve arranged your proposal, you can submit it here. From there, we will review it and see if your class proposal sounds like a good fit for our upcoming class schedule! Due to high volume of submissions, we’re unable to respond to every proposal but will reach out if we have capacity to add your class.
