Having confidence in your ability to protect yourself and your loved ones is priceless. Self-defense is an important life skill that everyone can and should have. In this class, we’ll learn how to best approach dangerous circumstances and the safest and most effective ways to react in worst-case scenarios. Gain an understanding of what to expect if you find yourself in harm’s way and how to be prepared to defend yourself as needed. We’ll practice different types of defense moves and techniques for varying types of attacks, and leave armed with more confidence when it comes to personal safety and protection.
We'll be getting plenty of hands-on practice during this class, so please be sure to wear athletic/workout clothing. We also highly recommend bringing a towel and water for this class and leaving any jewelry at home. If you happen to have your own pair of boxing gloves, you're welcome to bring them! Otherwise gloves will be provided for participants as needed.
Who Should Take This Class?
This class is designed to provide instruction for self-defense techniques that are most relevant to women. There is no prior experience required and beginners are welcome!
