Introduction to Photography

Does the thought of using a nice camera make you feel equal parts excited and intimidated? Having quality photos is priceless, so come learn to take your camera skills to the next level by familiarizing yourself with your camera and removing the intimidation factor. In this class, local photographer Nikki Whitt Belch of Fancy This Photography will teach on the trifecta when it comes to using your camera. We’ll learn about shutterspeed, f-stops, and ISO and apply our newfound knowledge with some hands-on practice. With these fundamentals, you’ll no longer need to default to shooting in auto.

Please bring your own (or borrowed) Nikon or Canon camera and any note-taking materials you'd like to use throughout the class. To get the most out of this class, we recommend you take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the location of basic functions (shutterspeed, f-stop, and ISO) on your personal camera.
