Podcasting Essentials

You’d like to expand your brand and reach new audiences, and you’ve been thinking “I’d like to start a podcast!” but you’re not sure where to begin. In this introductory class, hosts of Podcast Raleigh Ashton Smith & Hayes Permar will give us the knowledge and confidence to find a starting point and turn our podcasting ideas into a reality. We’ll discuss equipment recommendations, topic identification, establishing an online presence, and content calendars. Plan to leave class feeling prepared to dive into the podcasting scene and one step closer to recording.

Feel free to bring something to take notes with, but we will have extra pens and paper handy if needed. Having a smartphone on hand may be useful, but this is not a requirement.

This class is designed for beginners who are interested in learning the basics of podcasting and where and how to get started.
