Join local calligrapher Kristen Henderson for a basic introduction to pen & ink calligraphy! We will talk about basic tools, properties of different pen nibs, differences among inks, and care of your nibs. You will learn about basic shapes and strokes, and practice a sample alphabet which will be supplied for you to use as a guide.

Who Should Take This Class?

This workshop is designed for those who have never tried lettering with a pointed pen before (it's very different from lettering with a marker or a broad or brush tool), or are just beginning to give it a whirl and want some extra practice or help.
