Come learn to tackle several fundamental cake decorating techniques while creating your very own beautiful (and delicious!) dessert to take home and show off. In this class, local pastry chef, baker, and cake decorator Sarah Causey will teach us to stack and base ice a 6” cake with delicious buttercream icing. Then we’ll move into a lesson on decorating as we learn to create a scroll pattern and pipe it onto a cake. We’ll also cover how to perfect a few different fonts ideal for writing on cakes. Prepare to be the “go-to” in your group of friends and family when it comes to topping off celebratory desserts with a beautifully crafted message!
