Date Night Abstract Art

It’s time to spark a little creativity! In this twist on our abstract art class, local abstract artist Kelly Aiken of Copeley Designs will guide you step-by-step as you and your partner create your own vibrant, bold abstract paintings accented with touches of gold leaf - two paintings that go together as one piece of art. You’ll learn color mixing, brush and palette knife techniques, and simple tips for creating art that reflects your personal style - all in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. By the end of class, you’ll leave with coordinating custom 16x20" works of art and a one-of-a-kind memory from a night well spent.

SkillPop is happy to provide the materials needed for class, but please note that this class can get a bit messy! Feel free to bring an apron or smock, otherwise please wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty.
