Calligraphy is one of the oldest and most elegant forms of handwriting, created by using ink-dipped pens to pair each letter of the alphabet with gorgeous and whimsical flourishes. In this introductory class, local calligrapher and watercolorist Ali Loncar will talk tools and techniques for pen and ink calligraphy as she guides us through writing the alphabet. Learn the fundamentals for shapes, strokes, and flourishes and gain a comfort level to continue perfecting your craft at home!
