Discover junk journaling in this fun, beginner-friendly class designed for all skill levels. Learn how to transform everyday bits and pieces—magazine clippings, photos, menus, stickers, maps, ticket stubs, and more—into expressive, artful spreads that are part scrapbook, part collage, and part journal. We’ll cover what junk journaling is, how to get started, affordable supply ideas, tips for collecting materials, and simple layout guidelines to create eye-pleasing pages—then you’ll begin your very first spread, an about me page! This class is perfect for both curious beginners and seasoned crafters, and will give you the confidence, inspiration, and practical tools to start creating without pressure or perfection.
Materials — Please Bring
Please bring anything you'd like to include in your “about me” journal spread - ticket stubs, stickers, mementos, photos of yourself and or your partner and pets, etc. We'll have journals (but feel free to bring your own), basic supplies, and plenty of magazine clippings to play with.
