Floral Design Basics

It’s impossible not to want to buy yourself some gorgeous blooms when options are plentiful and vibrant at your local grocery store or farmer’s market, but it’s no fun when your purchase inevitably winds up looking sad and stalky stuffed in a vase. Not anymore! In this class, Blooming Branch Creative owner and floral designer Chelsea Cote Cioara will teach us how to take those blooms and make them Instagram-worthy as she shares basic design technique and tips for styling a soft, garden-inspired floral arrangement.

Please bring your own set of floral shears to class with you. These are available for purchase at places such as Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Walmart, Home Depot, and Amazon. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at info@skillpop.com! Students are also welcome to bring an apron to wear if desired, but this is not a requirement.

If you love flowers, like having them around, and want to learn more about how to arrange them to look their best - this class is for you! Beginners are welcome as no prior floral knowledge is required.
