Description

Nothing is better than a good loaf of bread, except maybe good bread that's also good for you. In this class, we’ll learn firsthand how to make bread that is both delicious and good for your gut. Local bread maker Julie Saunders of Crumb will give us hands-on guided instruction as we create our own sourdough starter from scratch. We’ll get familiar with the bread making process, learn best practices for keeping it healthy, and how to use our starter in a hand-mixed recipe for a basic country loaf. Cross store-bought bread off the grocery list because nothing compares to homemade and healthy.
