Cookie Decorating Basics

Want to learn how to make a delicious treat look like a bite-sized work of art? In this class, self-taught cookie decorator Allison Davidson of Davidson Delights will walk us through the fundamentals of cookie decorating with royal icing. We’ll learn best practices for mixing icing colors, achieving the ideal icing consistency, and tips and techniques for decorating cookies through guided hands-on instruction. We’ll also get insight on how to best cut and bake cookies so we can continue creating on our own! Plan to leave class with a box full of cookies that are equal parts yummy and pretty, as well as the knowledge to keep practicing and perfecting your “sweet" new hobby at home.
