Basic Watercolor Techniques

Curious about how to get started with watercolor painting, or just looking to try something new? In this class, artist Ali Loncar-Bridges will walk us through the fundamentals of watercolor. After a quick rundown of recommended materials, you'll dive into mixing paints and colors. Then, Ali will teach beginner-level techniques including wet-on-wet, blooming, and wet-on-dry painting. By the end of class, you'll have an understanding of the basics and be ready to keep practicing!

To follow along with this class, you’ll need a medium watercolor brush, paint, and watercolor paper. We’ll send out a detailed list of additional materials upon registration.
