Keeping bees is a fascinating and worthwhile endeavor, but you (and your future bees) will greatly benefit from a little planning and education before you take the leap. Join Portland beekeeper and conservation educator, Rebekah Golden for this introductory course where we will ‘beek’ out over bee biology, hive styles, tools & equipment, getting bees, installing bees, hive inspection basics, and useful tips & tricks. By the end of class, you'll have the knowledge to start planning and begin your own beekeeping journey next spring!
