In this introductory class, students will learn everything they need to make fresh pasta using a basic pasta machine at home, including fresh egg pasta! Emily will demonstrate how to make fresh pasta dough, cover tips and tricks for rolling it out with a pasta machine, and show you some of the many different shapes you can make with your pasta. In addition to making pasta, Emily will demonstrate how to make a smoky, spicy Amatriciana Sauce; a little step up from traditional red sauce.
To follow along with the class, you'll need a pasta roller, measuring spoons, a cutting board, a sauce pan, and a few easily accessible ingredients. We'll send out a detailed list of recommended materials upon registration. These materials are not required and are not brand specific.
