Novice Knitting

Cozy up with a pair of knitting needles and a skein of yarn in this beginner-level knitting class! Follow along with knitting fanatic Kari Hess as she guides you through the four basics of knitting: the knit stitch, the purl stitch, casting on and binding off. She’ll also cover material details including needle size, yarn thickness, and gauge. By the end of class, you’ll have the resources needed to confidently continue working on your knitting project!

To follow along with this class, you’ll need scissors, medium weight yarn, and a pair of straight needles on hand. We'll send out a detailed list of material options upon registration.
