Taught byEmily Trotochaud
Savor the flavors of the season and join culinary instructor Emily Trotochaud of 100 Days of Pasta as she walks you through the process of baking a delicious brioche babka. You'll make the dough together (no stand mixer required), then Emily will whip up a sweet chocolate filling and demonstrate creating the babka's signature twisted look. This bread requires two rises, so Emily will cover baking basics, savory options, and troubleshoot the tricky stuff. By the end of class you'll have everything you need to finish baking this delicious holiday bread on your own!
Can't make it to the live session? Not to worry — you'll automatically have access to a replay as soon as class is over.
To follow along during class, you'll need a pastry brush, loaf pan, measuring spoons, and a few easily accessible ingredients. We’ll send out a detailed list of additional materials, ingredients, and recipes upon registration.
Note: Your dough will need to rest for 60 - 90 minutes, so plan to make the dough during class, watch Emily complete the full process and then finish up on your own later! As always, you'll have access to the replay for this class as soon as it's over.
